Sepolia ETH without the faucet hoops
Faucets want your GitHub, an Alchemy account, or a mainnet balance before dripping sETH. Pay a few cents over XMR or Lightning and get Sepolia ETH sent straight to your dev wallet.
Native ETH gas on Sepolia testnet
Sepolia is the long-lived Ethereum test network that most tooling, faucets, and contract deployments have standardised on. Its ETH has no market value, but getting some has become a chore: the major faucets now require a GitHub or Alchemy account, a mainnet balance above a threshold, a captcha, and a daily cap, and they still run dry.
1gwei.dev sells Sepolia ETH on demand instead. Pay a few cents in Monero or Bitcoin Lightning and our hot wallet sends sETH on chain ID 11155111 to the address you give, with no account, no captcha, and no mainnet balance requirement. Because it is a testnet, it is priced at a small fraction of mainnet ETH and the order sizes are scaled up accordingly.
The same HTTP API that drives the checkout can be scripted, so a CI pipeline or a test harness can top up its own wallets automatically. The endpoints are documented in the plain-text agent docs linked below.

When you need gas on Sepolia testnet
- A faucet refuses you because your mainnet address holds less than its threshold or you have no GitHub account.
- You need Sepolia ETH now for a contract deployment, and the faucet's daily cap is too small.
- CI or integration tests need testnet wallets funded on a schedule without a human clicking captchas.
- Teaching or a workshop where dozens of fresh wallets need sETH at once.
Sepolia testnet gas questions
Why would I pay for Sepolia ETH when faucets are free?
Because the free faucets now gate on GitHub or Alchemy accounts, mainnet balances, captchas, and daily caps, and they are often empty. Paying a few cents in Monero or Lightning gets sETH to your wallet in about a minute with none of that.
Is Sepolia ETH worth anything?
No. It is a test token with no market value and cannot be traded for mainnet ETH. You are paying for delivery convenience, not for the token itself.
How is Sepolia priced compared with mainnet gas?
At a small fraction of the mainnet ETH spot price, with order sizes scaled up well beyond the mainnet range so a single order funds real testing. The exact amounts and the invoice are shown in the checkout before you pay, and the live figures are in /api/meta.
Can I automate Sepolia top-ups for CI?
Yes. Create orders with a POST to the public API, pay the returned Lightning or Monero invoice programmatically, then poll the order until it is sent. The request and response shapes are in the agent docs at /llms-full.txt.
Do you support Holesky or Hoodi?
Not currently. Sepolia is the only testnet on offer because it is the one most tooling and faucets target. Mainnet gas is available on Ethereum, Arbitrum One, Base, Robinhood Chain, Polygon, HyperEVM and BNB Chain.
Will Sepolia ETH work on Ethereum mainnet?
No. Sepolia is a separate network. sETH only exists on chain ID 11155111 and cannot be moved to mainnet or any layer 2.
