Out of ETH and can't pay the gas to move anything? Buy a micro top-up (0.00005–0.01 ETH) with Monero or a Lightning invoice — no exchange, no sign-up.
Native ETH gas on Ethereum mainnet
Ethereum mainnet is the layer-1 chain every rollup settles to, and it is the one place where gas is genuinely expensive. Every action there, from a token approval to an ENS renewal, is paid in native ETH, so a wallet holding tokens but zero ETH is frozen: it cannot approve, transfer, or sweep anything until someone sends it gas.
1gwei.dev sells that gas in micro amounts. You pay a small invoice in Monero or Bitcoin Lightning, and our hot wallet sends native ETH on chain ID 1 directly to the address you paste. There is no bridge, no swap, no exchange withdrawal minimum, and no account. The payout is a normal mainnet transaction you can verify on Etherscan.
Orders run from 0.00005 to 0.01 ETH, with presets at 0.0002, 0.0005, 0.001 ETH. The checkout reads the live mainnet base fee and shows how many plain sends, token transfers, and swaps each amount covers before you pay, so you buy only what the wallet actually needs.
Ethereum mainnet gas questions
How much ETH do I need for one transaction on Ethereum mainnet?
It depends on the live base fee. A plain ETH transfer uses 21,000 gas, a token approval around 46,000, and a DEX swap 150,000 or more. At a base fee of a few gwei, 0.0002 ETH covers several plain transfers; when the network is busy it covers fewer. The checkout reads the current mainnet gas price and shows the coverage for each amount before you pay.
Is the ETH delivered on Ethereum mainnet or on a layer 2?
On mainnet, chain ID 1. This page sells layer-1 gas. If you need ETH on Arbitrum One or Base, use the dedicated page for that chain; balances are not shared across chains.
Can I use this to move tokens out of a wallet that has 0 ETH?
Yes, that is the most common order. Send gas to that exact address, wait for the mainnet transaction to confirm, then approve, transfer, or sweep the tokens as normal.
Why not just withdraw ETH from an exchange?
Exchanges require an account and identity checks, enforce minimum withdrawal amounts that are far above a gas top-up, and create an on-chain link between the exchange account and the receiving wallet. Paying in Monero or Lightning avoids all three.
What is the smallest and largest mainnet gas order?
From 0.00005 to 0.01 ETH per order. Presets are 0.0002, 0.0005, 0.001 ETH. This is a gas station, not an exchange, so the cap is deliberately low.
Does buying mainnet gas with Monero link my identity to the wallet?
No. The only on-chain transaction is our hot wallet sending ETH to the address you gave. Your Monero or Lightning payment does not appear on Ethereum, and we hold no account or identity data for you.
